Old movie review

If we talks about the review then Despite its story, people are not liking it much and so it not earn good rating its  IMDb Rating is 5.8/10 by the 76k IMDb User. Also the film has been liked by 68% Google Users.

One of the google User has given this movie only 1 Star (⭐) and written -

"like many others, i’ve never written a movie review before but i can’t keep myself from it after watching this.

when the VERY first lines of dialogue in the movie were spent lazily “foreshadowing” what would happen to the family what felt like ten times, my boyfriend and i knew we had made a horrible choice by purchasing tickets to see this movie.

The actors were speaking as though they hadn’t seen even a page of the script beforehand, which left most interactions feeling so bland and forced. the script itself was poorly written and so clunky, none of what anyone was saying felt natural which in itself completely ruins the immersion you expect to feel while watching a movie.

it sucks because the plot itself was so interesting but sooooo poorly executed. the six year olds going from playing in the sand to being teenagers trying to explain their “minds were aging with their bodies” which is why they ended up having sex, and then having them tell their parents they were “just playing” after cara comes back pregnant was disturbing to say the least.

If you’re going to try and sell the fact that their minds are maturing at the same rate, you can’t go back and make them speak as though they are still children. it was nauseating and the entire scenario with trent and cara having sex and having their baby die immediately had absolutely no real reason to be in the film so i’m insanely lost on why they decided to add it.

I could have accepted and just written off a movie with bad acting and heaps of plot holes because obviously not every movie will land but that arc alone just pushes it way off into the deep end and it left me struggling to find anything good about the movie at all.

I have no idea how people are giving this movie five stars. i don’t think i’ve ever gotten secondhand embarrassment while watching a movie before this disaster"

Also one of the google user has liked this film and he has written a very good review on google.

"I really liked this film and appreciated the deeper meaning and messages behind it which made me think long after I'd left the theatre.

So often now at the cinema/on streaming platforms I watch films and series that are boring or predictable and I find myself scrolling Instagram halfway through, but I genuinely didn't know where this film was going right up until the end which was really refreshing.

The only thing I could really criticize is the character Mid Sized Sedan... a bit of a stereotype who we barely learn anything about before he no longer features in the storyline- however his character does provide the information which then propels the film towards it's conclusion.

Like a few of the reviewers on here,  I'm a big fan of Shyamalan's previous work such as Signs and Sixth Sense, and whilst some pieces such as The Happening are a bit naff, I appreciate a writer/director who takes the risk to try something different.

If you're looking for something fresh that makes you think and aren't overly sensitive, this is an entertaining watch.
"

Now you have to decide whether this movie is really a bad movie or user has given this movie bad rating without watching this movie. But I think you have to watch this movie once so that you can enjoy this film.

You have to wait 15 seconds.
