India's leading telecom driver, Jio, has blazoned a substantial increase in its mobile service rates, effective from July 3. The company revealed on Thursday that prices will rise by 12 to 27 percent, and access to unlimited free 5G services will be confined. This marks Jio's first rate hike in nearly two and a half times. With over 470 million subscribers, Jio commands around 41 percent of the request share.
Assiduity experts attribute this increase to the recent diapason transaction, and it's anticipated that Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea may follow suit with analogous hikes.

Annual recharge plans will see a price increase of 20- 21 percent, with costs rising from 1,559 rupees to 1,899 rupees and from 2,999 rupees to 3,599 rupees. Mid-range mobile service plans will witness a 19- 21 percent increase.
According to the company's statement," Unlimited 5G data will be available on all plans with two GB per day and over. The new plans will be effective from July 3, 2024, and will be accessible through all being touchpoints and channels."
presently, guests using plans priced above 239 rupees can pierce unlimited free 5G services.
