Storyline
If we talks about the story of the film Meenakshi Sundareshwar then the story of the film revolves around two characters named Meenakshi (Sanya Malhotra) and Sundareshwar (Abhimanyu Dassani) they are newly married couple and they both got a job opportunity on different cities.
The story of the film starts from Madurai’s Meenakshi Sundareshwara temple which is dedicated to Meenakshi (a form of Goddess Parvati) and Sundeshwara (a form of Lord Shiva) while it leads to the central characters, Meenakshi (Sanya) and Sundareshwar (Abhimanyu Dassani) & there parents are looking for the best match for them.
Sundareshwar and his parents are on their way to choose a suitable girl for him, but they wind up at Meenakshi's house owing to a misunderstanding. When they realise their error, her grandfather (Shivkumar Subramaniam) draws comparisons with Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, claiming that this may be their destiny.
Despite the fact that they don't appear to have much in common until the previous scene. For example, she enjoys movies and attends 'Superstar Rajinikanth's new release 'first-day first-show,' but he dislikes movies and finds them boring.
Soon after Meenakshi and Sundareshwar's wedding, he hears about a job interview the next day. Sundar's opportunity leads him to Bangalore, but he couldn't bring his newlywed wife with him so he can focus on growing his profession, as this break comes a year after completing his engineering studies.
Sundar's relocation from Madurai to Bangalore sets in motion his long-distance marriage with Meenakshi. As with any long-distance relationship, this newlywed couple experiences more downs than ups – the pleasure and laughter they enjoy at first gradually changes to sorrow and heartbreak.

Meenakshi Sundareshwar Movie Review
If we talks about the review of the film Meenakshi Sundareshwar then this movie is liked by everyone as it has got an IMDb Rating of 8.5/10 by 9.5k IMDb Users. Also 82% Google User have already liked this film.
The plot lags at times, and you wonder when it will get to the next point. After a while, it appears like the creators were in a rush to resolve the issue and find a solution before time ran out. Ananthan (Varun Shashi Rao), an old acquaintance (or boyfriend) of Meenakshi, has a track that builds slowly and steadily but ends abruptly and fast.
Sanya Malhotra does an excellent job of portraying the different shades of Meenakshi and is a treat to watch in her moments, even those in which she doffs her hat to Rajinikanth. This is Abhimanyu's (Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota) second film, and the young gifted actor appears to be making fascinating parts and film choices. He maintains his Sundar understated and effective, never departing from character. With their sincere performances, the two contribute to the chemistry between their characters.
Meenakshi Sundareshwar may have been more entertaining if the filmmakers had reduced it by 15-20 minutes. With the exception of the boring bits, Meenakshi Sundareshwar is worth seeing for its hatke theme of long-distance marriage, Sanya and Abhimanyu's effective performances, Justin Prabhakaran's great music, and the perfect southern flavour for this Madurai and Bangalore-based drama.
